This 4 weight fly rod is built on a St. Croix "SCIV/SCII" series blank. The handle and reel seat are made from quilted redwood with a burl as well, beautiful in the sunlight. The stripper guide is holographic SIC and the remainder of the guides are single foot titanium fly guides. Thread art consists of a chevron built with burgundy polyneon thread with gun-metal gray metallic as accent thread. The rod breaks down into 4 sections at a length of less than 25 inches making it an exceptional rod for transportation whether you are backpacking, biking or traveling to your favorite region of the country.
